Abstract Background Dysregulation of the OPG / RANK RANKL signalling pathway is a key step in occurrence steroid-induced osteonecrosis femoral head (ONFH). This study aims to understand degree methylation , and genes steroid-related ONFH. Methods A case-control was designed, including 50 patients (25 males 25 females) matched controls. The European Molecular Biology Open Software Suite (EMBOSS) used predict existence location CpG islands genes. Agena MassARRAY platform detect status above blood subjects. relationship between level sites each gene ONFH analysed by chi-square test, logistic regression analysis, other statistical methods. Results In with ONFH, several high rates levels were found. Some hypermethylated increase risk addition, few have predictive value for early diagnosis Conclusion Methylation certain increases may be as prediction diagnostic targets
